Dr. Gita Tajick
Principal Dentist
Dr. Gita Tajick, a seasoned practitioner in the field of dentistry since 1997, boasts a rich repertoire of affiliations, including memberships with the American Dental Association, the Southern Maryland Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the World Clinical Laser Institute. Demonstrating her commitment to staying at the forefront of innovative dental solutions, Dr. Tajick has successfully completed a comprehensive training program, attaining certification and proficiency in the nuanced requirements essential for effectively treating patients with Invisalign— the clear alternative to traditional braces employing aligners.
Dr. Tajick's conscientious and thorough approach, combined with her ability to make patients feel at ease through her friendly and outgoing personality, contributes to the positive experience enjoyed by patients during their visits to our practice.

Dr. Robin Pollack
Periodontist
Based on her belief that periodontal care should be accessible to everyone, Dr. Robin Pollack places importance on establishing a trusting relationship with patients and with her dental team. She provides personalized care to her patients because each patient’s needs are unique.
Dr. Pollack stays active in local and national dental professional organizations, through which she is continuously exposed to the latest advances in the specialized fields of Periodontics and Implantology. She is a longstanding active member of The American Academy of Periodontology, and is also an active member of the Greater Washington Academy of Women Dentists (GWAWD) and the Chinese Dental Study Club.
After earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Maryland, College Park, Dr. Pollack graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 1984. She went on to do her post-graduate residency in Periodontics at New York University College of Dentistry, graduating in 1986 with her Certificate in Periodontics. Dr. Pollack is a seasoned practitioner with extensive experience in New York, Maryland and Virginia.
Dr. Pollack is married with two adult children who are also in the medical field.
JOY CHEN, DMD, MD
Oral Surgeon
Dr. Chen is a board-certified dual-degree oral and maxillofacial surgeon. A native of Vancouver, British Columbia, she completed her undergraduate studies at McGill University, graduating on the Dean’s List. She continued her education at the University of British Columbia where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. Dr. Chen went on to obtain her medical degree (MD) from the prestigious Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, graduating in the top of her class and was inducted into the AOA honor society. She then went on to complete her oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Columbia University Medical Center / New York Presbyterian Hospital where she received extensive training in dentoalveolar surgery, craniofacial/cleft surgery, orthognathic surgery, facial trauma surgery, and reconstructive surgery. During her residency, she completed a year of training in General Surgery and served as the Chief Resident in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery during her final year of training. Dr. Chen also has a special interest in global oral and maxillofacial surgery and has participated in mission trips to Colombia where she treated children with craniofacial abnormalities.
Dr. Chen practices full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery including dentoalveolar surgery (wisdom teeth removal, implants, bone grafting), outpatient sedation/anesthesia, orthognathic (corrective jaw) surgery, craniomaxillofacial trauma and reconstruction, benign craniofacial pathology, and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. Dr. Chen also has an interest in office-based cosmetic procedures such as neuromodulators (Botox) and dermal fillers.
Training at New York’s top adult and children’s hospitals has given Dr. Chen a unique background in treating a diverse patient population and extensive exposure in the management of patients with complex medical and surgical issues. Dr. Chen is committed to providing personalized care for her patients and is passionate about building an open and trusting relationship by advocating for her patients’ best interests. She is also committed to providing the most evidence-based and state-of –the-art surgical care, including virtual surgical planning and guided implant surgery, to ensure the safest and most predictable surgical outcomes for her patients.
Dr. Eiman Khalili
Endodontist
Dr. Eiman Khalili is a highly skilled Endodontist who earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from New York University in 2011. He deepened his specialization by completing a postgraduate program in Endodontics at the same prestigious institution in 2013. Since then, he has been fully committed to his practice, dedicating his professional life to the field of Endodontics.
With over a decade of experience in the field, Dr. K specializes in root canal treatments, always seeking ways to preserve natural teeth whenever possible. He believes in a conservative approach to dental care, focusing on treatments that maintain the natural structure and health of his patients’ teeth.
Dr. K is passionate about staying at the forefront of his field, attending the American Association of Endodontics conference annually. This commitment to continuous learning ensures that he is always updated with the latest developments and techniques in Endodontics, providing his patients with the best care possible.
Known for creating a calming environment, he strives to make every patient’s experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible during their treatment. His warm and professional demeanor has been appreciated by his patients, who often commend his ability to ease their anxieties about dental procedures.
Outside his professional life, Dr. K is a fitness enthusiast with a fondness for diverse physical activities. He engages in regular squash games with his wife and enjoys swimming for both fitness and relaxation. He also has a passion for horseback riding, which he practices weekly, showcasing his love for animals and outdoor activities.
